Access to culturally competent healthcare always has been essential for me. As an international student, I did not have healthcare coverage throughout my education for the simple reason that it was too expensive for me to afford.
I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. I can also provide telepsychology in other states under PSYPACT. All of my sessions are conducted virtually, over a HIPPA-compliant video platform. If you are planning to use your insurance benefits, please confirm that your specific plan will cover Telehealth sessions.
I have an E.Passport (mobility number 8213) and an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) through the PSYPACT program coordinated by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB). This program allows licensed psychologists who have the required training, experience, and qualifications to practice telepsychology from the psychologist’s home state to any state registered in the PSYPACT compact.
As of November 2021, these states are:
Alabama Arizona Colorado Delaware District of Columbia
Georgia Illinois Kentucky Maine Maryland
Minnesota Missouri Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire
North Carolina Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania Tennessee
Texas Utah
